After the 2010 publication of his book, A User's Guide to the Crisis of Civilization, Nafeez teamed up with award-winning film-maker Dean Puckett to make the documentary feature film inspired by the book, The Crisis of Civilization.
Despite a shoe-string budget, the film won a spate of prestigious festival awards (including being selected as a 'Festival Favourite' at the Leeds International Film Festival 2011), was endorsed by BAFTA Lifetime award winning film-maker Nick Broomfield, and received overwhelmingly positive critical acclaim.
The film has been distributed to television broadcasters around the world by Mercury Media, and was released in full for free online in March 2011, since which it has gone viral, receiving well over half a million views. Watch it for free now, if you like:

Nafeez was associate producer for Dean's next film, Grasp The Nettle (2013), which had its world premiere at the Open City Doc Fest on 21st June 2013. You can watch the trailer for that here:
Nafeez has also been involved in dozens of other documentary films over the years, including appearing as a talking head in BBC's 'Generation 7/7' presented by DJ Bobby Friction, also featuring actor and musician Riz Ahmed; Channel 4's 'Who Really Runs the World'; a Sky News TV special report on Operation Crevice in 2008; Metanoia Films' 'The Power Principle' series; and many others.
